Our Community
Cambridge Idaho is a beautiful, small, country town nestled in a mountain valley and surrounded by farms and ranches.
The population enjoys all the opportunities that four distinct seasons offer, including hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, skiing, and boating.
The community boasts a wonderful K-12 school system with an enviable teacher: student ratio. A well rounded curriculum plus extracurricular activities, such as marching band, FFA, BPA, football, basketball, track, and volleyball, are offered.
An impressive array of businesses service this small community, including a grocery store, C-store and gas stations, medical and dental clinics, restaurants, a bank, auto repair, telephone office, post office, community library, lumber yard, farm store, art gallery, museum, senior center, assisted living facility, Washington County fairgrounds and Cambridge rodeo arena.
The community is blessed with an all-volunteer fire department with ambulance and certified EMT's to provide emergency services to the area.
Besides the First Baptist Church, there is an Assembly of God church, Bible Church, Seventh Day Adventist Church, Catholic Church, and Church of Latter Day Saints. These churches all cooperate in serving the spiritual and physical needs of their community.
